Why are my camera streams black/blank?

Cameras that are black or not capturing your events are almost always based on a power issue. The best way to check for this is on your backend dashboard at awresports.com. Here you can see all your cameras, what they look like, and any that are not receiving power:

If there are green lights next to the cameras - that means the camera is receiving power AND sending information to the AWRE network. If the cameras have a RED LIGHT, this means that there is a power issue with the camera. When clicking into the camera, you will see this error:

The solution is almost always power cycling the camera with the red icon. Unplug the camera, wait a few seconds, and re-plug the camera back in. Also check for any tripped outlets. Once you do this, the camera will reset and start capturing data again.
