Give each GoRout call a pitch type and a target. Then chart the game to connect intent with execution.
Catcher perspective
Have your GoRout Diamond account and the correct AWRE team ready.
Sign in to AWRE and select the team you use with GoRout Diamond. Open Team Admin → Tech Integrations → GoRout Pitch Call. If your GoRout organization is not connected to the correct AWRE team, contact AWRE support to get connected.
Choose Setup Integration or Review to open Pitch call mappings. For each GoRout pitch call, select its AWRE pitch type. Check the selection against your team’s terminology, including calls for left- and right-handed batters.
Select Edit location, choose the target in the grid, and select Done. The grid uses the catcher’s perspective. Confirm the vertical and horizontal target labels for each call.
Mark non-pitch calls as Ignore and resolve calls marked Needs review. Select Save mappings. Revisit this screen when you introduce new calls or change your call names.
Use GoRout Diamond to call pitches while your team charts the same game in AWRE. Record the actual pitch type, location, and result. Call mappings describe the plan; charted pitches provide what happened.
Open Schedule → your game → Pitch Intent. Review Pairing coverage, Location coverage, and the Match audit first. Use Review call mappings to check your definitions. When both unmatched calls and eligible pitches exist, open Review unmatched calls, choose the correct charted pitch, and select Match pitch. Then explore execution, outcomes, and call patterns.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

No. You can use the Charting integration and Pitch Intent reporting without an AWRE camera or video package. Video is an optional addition for teams that want to review footage alongside their analysis.
Mapping tells AWRE what a GoRout call means: its pitch type and intended location. Pairing connects an individual call to an individual charted pitch in a game. Both are needed to compare the plan with the result.
Start with the Match audit. Check that you are viewing the correct team and game, that your calls are mapped, and that the game has charted pitches. Unpaired calls do not contribute to paired execution analysis. Missing charted locations also limit location analysis. Contact support if gaps remain.
When an unmatched call and an eligible unmatched pitch are both available, open Review unmatched calls in Pitch Intent. Check the call and time, choose the charted pitch using its pitch number, count, pitcher, and hitter, then select Match pitch. If only unmatched calls remain, check the charting and call mappings first; there may not be an eligible pitch to pair.
Return to GoRout Pitch Call in Tech Integrations and review the mapping list. Confirm the pitch type and intended location for each new or changed call, resolve Needs review items, and save your mappings before using them for analysis.
